Adoption Day Milkshakes

Milkshakes for Theo’s adoption anniversary! No one should have to adopt their own kids, but I’m finding ways to make difficult memories fun. It’s part of our family story, and an important part of the cultural context of what it means to be a queer family in the U.S. and the expensive hoops (not to mention exclusionary, privileged, etc.) we have to jump through to protect our parental rights.
